NIGERIA 2027

The Light A Candle Nigeria mission trip runs from January 28-February 8, 2027 in Port Harcourt, serving alongside the YWAM Port Harcourt base.

This will be Light A Candle's second trip to this base. We will be serving the Women of Honor, those who have lost their husbands to the radical militants in the north. The women come to this base to know God more deeply, pursue healing, and prepare to return to their village with a bold courage to share the Gospel.

Team members will teach at the DTS on Inner Healing and Hope, minister to the kids through games, lessons, Bible stories, coloring, and songs. Carpenters and skilled workers are welcome to help the team continue their work on the base. Medical personnel is welcome to serve in the base clinic.

Families are welcome and loved on this base! Bring your children!

Who can serve, and how:

• Everyone: minister to the Women of Honor, mothers left widowed and childless because of persecution in Northern Nigeria.
• Medical personnel: apply to serve in the base clinic.
• Teachers, families, and those who love kids: apply to serve the local school by ministering to the children.
