This December, Light A Candle is heading somewhere new — Lebanon.

We've been connected with an incredible organization near the Syrian border, who have been faithfully serving their community through years of war, displacement, and hardship.

They haven't moved, they haven't backed down, and now they're inviting us to come alongside them. If you've ever felt pulled toward the darkest and hardest places, if you've ever wanted to go somewhere the gospel is urgently needed then this is your trip.

We'll be there at the very beginning of December, right in the heart of the Christmas season, partnering with the WHCH team to bring gifts to local families and children, to pack and hand out supplies, and to share the real reason for Christmas, the hope of Jesus, with Syrian families and local communities who desperately need to hear it.

Similar to Operation Christmas Child, but you're actually there. You're the one handing it over, sitting with the families, playing with the kids, praying over the people. It's hands-on, it's relational, and it's exactly the kind of work that changes you as much as it changes them.

One of the best things about this trip is that it's accessible. Our team will be based in one central location the whole time, which makes it a wonderful option for families, couples, seniors, or anyone who has wanted to go on a short-term trip but felt nervous about the logistics of moving around.
