UNDERGROUND CHURCH DISCIPLESHIP PROJECT

The Underground Church Discipleship project supports weekly Bible study and worship nights in Iraqi-Kurdistan, reaching around 50 committed adults. You can help sustain it for $5,000 per year or $417 per month.

Our team hosts Bible study and worship nights several times per week: a weekly morning prayer meeting, a Tuesday night Bible study for those looking to learn more about the Bible and be discipled, and a weekly house church gathering for a smaller, more intimate group of believers going deeper into God's Word and being trained up to lead their own house churches.

Our team has hosted several small groups of volunteers who have come to pour into these nights through training on disciple-making, Biblical marriage, and how to understand the Bible more fully. These topics help our new believer friends put their faith into practice, going from belief to action.

Each study night draws around 50 adults who are consistent and committed to regular attendance. All are welcome, no matter where they are in their faith. We have welcomed young and old, those who aren't yet believers and those more mature in their faith. The weekly house church gathering stewards a more intimate group of those who are born again and want to dive much deeper: we take communion, share a meal, and go deep in relationship and in the Lord.

What your gift funds: tea and light refreshments, translator salary, transportation for families who live farther away, Bibles, and study materials.
