HOUSE TO HOUSE PROJECT

The House to House project provides Bibles, food bags, clothes, hygiene kits, and other necessities to 50 Syrian refugee families each month in Iraqi-Kurdistan. The investment for this project is $20,000 per year, or $1,670 per month.

In the Middle East, the culture is big on sipping tea on floor cushions, sharing meals in homes, and late nights. We devote our time to prayer, the breaking of bread, and building up homes in the Word of God. Through this project, we walk alongside the families we are building community with, meeting practical needs as we disciple and encourage them.

What this project provides each month:

• and other necessities for 50 families.

These 50 families are Syrian refugees who fled the war in their own country, only to find they cannot get work in Iraqi-Kurdistan. Many Syrians are treated with disdain and taken advantage of by employers and coworkers alike. Work is hard to find, and when they do find it, they are often mistreated, unpaid, or made to work extremely long hours for minimal wages, if they are paid at all.

Through House to House, we supplement these families with necessary supplies so they can put their hard-earned money toward rent, medical bills, and utilities. Meeting physical needs this way also gives us the opportunity to spend more time with these families, encouraging and discipling them.
