The McClures (trip leaders) are committed to an "as-you-go" missions lifestyle.
This means we carry the presence of Jesus everywhere we are -- airports, cafes, city streets, marketplaces, and yes, possibly even on camel-back.
Ministry will not be confined to scheduled moments but will flow organically through daily life, conversations, and divine appointments.
Our primary local partners in Egypt are a vibrant community of young believers in their 20s and 30s -- bold, passionate, and already on fire for Jesus. Our role is not to replace or overshadow their work, but to come alongside them with joy, encouragement, and renewed fervency, adding strength to their ongoing mission and vision.
Our heart is twofold:
- To invigorate the local body of believers with fresh passion, zeal, and confidence in the power of the Holy Spirit.
- To lovingly engage non-believers we encounter along the way, connecting them with the heart of Jesus.
Ministry could include prayer for healing, words of knowledge, teaching, prophecy, worhsip, and the activation of spiritual gifts... creating space for every team member to steward what God has placed inside them!
Because open evangelism is prohibited, we will be following the leading of the Holy Spirit in every interaction. While there will be no open-air evangelistic events, we are committed to the name of Jesus being proclaimed and know that will result in lives surrendered and powerful moments only God could orchestrate.
This is not a trip about programs or performances. It is about presence. His presence in us, through us, and released in partnership with what He is already doing in Egypt.
